Inaugural Address by Renowned U.S.-Based Psychiatrist Dr. Muhammad Qutubuddin Abu Shuja at SmartSkills Technical Academy
SmartSkills Technical Academy, operating under the management of Hyderabad Skill Education Trust, was formally inaugurated in Hyderabad. On the occasion, renowned U.S.-based psychiatrist Dr. Muhammad Qutubuddin Abu Shuja delivered a thought-provoking and inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of character, ethics, and practical effort in nation-building.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Qutubuddin stated that nations are not built by speeches alone but through sustained hard work, moral values, and social responsibility. He observed that individuals who carry genuine concern for society, humanity, and reform are not ordinary people, but agents of positive change.
Highlighting the essence of Islam, he stressed that service to humanity is the core message of the faith and the guiding principle of the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). True leadership, he noted, lies in serving the people rather than seeking privilege or status.
Dr. Qutubuddin also spoke about prevailing social challenges, including extravagance, neglect of the poor, weakening family ties, and disregard for community responsibilities. He underlined the urgent need for ethical reform, simplicity, and collective responsibility to restore social balance.
Emphasizing the role of skill development, he encouraged youth to adopt hands-on work, vocational skills, and self-reliance. He stated that dignity of labor and honest effort are essential for economic stability and personal growth, adding that divine sustenance is linked with sincere hard work.
Appreciating the initiative, Dr. Qutubuddin described the establishment of SmartSkills Technical Academy as a constructive and forward-looking step. He expressed confidence that the academy would play a vital role in empowering youth with employable skills, ethical values, and a spirit of service.
The program was attended by Mr. Ahmed Arshad Hussain, Chairman & Trustee, Team NGOs Cooperative Trust, Hyderabad, Mr. Ilyas Shamshi, National President, Team NGOs India, along with other dignitaries and guests. The event was organized by Hyderabad Skill Development Trust.
The program concluded with prayers for the success of the academy and its mission to contribute meaningfully to education, skill development, and social upliftment.
